I order this dress the other day to wear to a Christmas dinner next month. I was hesitant to get it after reading some of the reviews and I don't have time for it not to work out. The dress was delivered before expected which was a plus. I'm 5'5" and I usually wear a 12-14 size dress (my upper body I can wear a medium top and my bottom I wear a XL) I order a XL dress in olive green. The color matched the photo and it was the perfect length (I like my maxi dresses to touch the floor a but). The belt was a joke just like other reviews said but I already planned on wearing it with one I own. Might get it in another color. Super happy and relieved.
Pros: I bought this dress in olive green and absolutely love it. My husband fell in love with it when I tried it on. It definitely fit true to size. I was worried since a lot of the reviews said it was too small/tight. I guess it depends on your body type. I'm a petite 5'1" frame, 105 lbs, I ordered a small and the dress was a perfect fit. Of course, I expected it to be long, with my highest heels, it almost didn't hit the floor so I will be getting that altered. What I love about this dress is that the top portion fits perfectly and the bottom of the dress doesn't stick to my behind like other jersey fabric dresses, it has very pretty pleats and flows very beautifully. If you dress it up with jewelry it's definitely a classy evening gown.Cons: The material of this dress is very thick. It definitely cannot be worn during the day in the summer, maybe unless you get a lighter color. I didn't like that it was so thick, but that's what makes the dress not see through, which I really appreciate. Also, I don't care whatsoever about the belt that the dress came with. It's a paper-thin belt with no shape that literally feels like you can pull it apart. I would toss that and use my own belt or not even wear the belt at all since there are no belt loops on the dress.Overall, if you're looking for a truly modest dress, this is it!
Great dress for the price! Fits great, fabric looks good, doesn't wrinkle, got this dress for my bridesmaids and all are very happy! One of my bridesmaid decided to make the dress tea length after the wedding so she can wear it on other occasions like a night out, a date, or even church! It's classy yet modest! I recommend! Specially for those who look for modest yet beautiful bridesmaids like me
