It's a lovely dress and I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it. It was the exact fit. It was very flowing and comfortable.
Beautiful fit and color for our 32 week pregnancy/ maternity family photo session in the winter in Iowa. I was searching for along sleeved, long dress, with an empire cut that would accentuate my pregnancy bump, and this beautiful dress fit the bill. This is honestly the only clothing item i haven't returned when shopping online. I always hate how things fit when I order online, and seldom buy clothes online. But, I went to the mall and found nothing with long sleeves or long floor length that was simple, yet elegant, so I turned to Amazon and hoped for the best. So glad I did! I'm 5'2" and I wore 1 inch cowboy boots. The length was maybe 1/2 inch on the ground, but I'm used to that since I'm petite. I can't wait to wear this to a wedding or formal event when I don't have an enormous 8 month pregnancy belly too.
I loooooove this dress. I used the chart as a reference and ordered based on the chest measurements. I chose a black dress in XXL. For reference I am a 40 DDD or 48-38-53. The dress was a bit loose but that is the look of this dress and I preferred it to be that way as I was going to a formal event. I am between 5'5 and 5'6" and the dress did touch the floor by about 2 inches. I was careful to lift it while going up and down stairs as I didn't have time to hem the dress, because it is empire and it has a band I tucked in a bit of the dress and pinned it between the wire and my skin under the bra and it was concealed by the rouching band to stop it from dragging and it only skimmed the floor. I was wearing 2.5" heels because there was supposed to be some dancing and taking my shoes off would have been a no no. I think 4" heels would have worked better. I loved how I looked, and my husband loved it even more. I think its a dress that can be dressed up or down. With the long sleeves it was warm enough for a winter event but I would probably not wear it for 90 degree + weather as I was feeling a bit warm at first and it was in the high 70s outside and I the building as well.
